Tathra Children’s Services Inc. is proudly a not for profit community based Preschool.

One parent from each family is required to become a financial member of Tathra Children’s Services Inc. This entitles you to attend the Annual General Meeting, become an Office Bearer and vote on the election of Office Bearers (Management Committee).

Our Management Committee is made up of parents, family members and interested community representatives. The Management Committee works in collaboration with the Director and staff to manage the Preschool.

The committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting. The Preschool’s running costs are funded by fees and recurrent funding from the Department of Education. Tathra Preschool is a community based/parent run organisation, which is only partially funded by the Government. We encourage parents to contribute to the running of the Preschool, by involvement in our Management Committee, sharing of skills, fundraising activities and maintenance.
