Cultural Diversity

Responding to diversity with respect is the touch stone for learning at Tathra preschool.

Children are exposed to the idea that there is more than one way to sing, dance, talk, dress and solve a problem.

Children learn songs and rhymes in a variety of languages with particular attention to local aboriginal languages, Djiringanj,  Thaua and Dhurga.

Learning experiences are designed to challenge bias and encourage children to think in an environment which embraces individual and cultural diversity.
